What you need:
Training environment
A stool with a plane surface to sit onto. With your feet on the floor, your legs should build an approximately 90° angle.
A wall to lean on with your arms stretching to your sides – or at least your elbows. A door might do, too.
A mat – or a cushion or a folded blanket – on the floor. You should be able to stretch you legs and arms in all directions. You might also need a very small cushion or – even better – a beanbag to place it under you head when lying on your padding.
One or more electronic devices with a camera
You’ll need to adjust the position of the camera(s) so that I can assess your posture and the position of your bones (including feet and hand position). This is the most important prerequisite for a precise and effective personal coaching session.
Clothing and (no) shoes
Please wear flexible but narrow clothing, allowing the position of your bones to show, including your pelvic bones, your rib cage, stomach and your back.
No shoes! Please wear socks with slip-resistant soles or stay barefoot. You’ll need to have a good grip with your feet on the floor.
Content of the first lesson:
We will start with an introduction to the most relevant structures within your body which stabilize your body and ensure its flexibility – your very core bones and muscles.
With some simple exercises, I will help you identify, feel and activate these structures within your body.
You will learn to activate these structures - the muscles that support your everyday posture - in different positions.
We will stepwise increase the complexity of the exercises. We will progress at your individual pace, always keeping the focus on the core musculature.
